10-20-2006 - mywedding.com honored as the 9th fastest growing private company in Washington State

On October 19th, 2006 mywedding.com was honored and awarded the 9th fastest growing private company in Washington state at the Puget Sound Business Journals’ top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Washington, an annual event held at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

Out of 100 businesses who attended the event, Drew Reynolds and Rob Johnsen, who represented mywedding.com, were both surprised and elated to be in the top 10. As Drew Reynolds, Director of Programming said, “I was thrilled to be in attendance with such an elite group of businesses. I had us pegged at around number 60, yet as the announcer continued to call the top 100, my prediction was blown away as we reached number 9. Now I have my work cut out for my programmers and myself, as our next challenge is to maintain our growth rate for 2007. I believe a key to our ongoing growth is to react quickly to the changing trends in the online wedding space and to deliver more useful and interactive products to our brides for their planning process.”
