  • We've lived together for 1 1/2 years, so for us, I want my wedding night attire to be very special - a separate task altogether - a sweet surprise, like it's all new & for the first time

  • Wedding night attire is for sure a separate task. Something personal just between you and the man you have just dedicated the rest of you life to.

  • In a way I think of wedding night attire to be a separate task, but only in the sense that my fiancee won't be involved in picking it out. I guess I'm really (perhaps obsessively) detail oriented and every little thing from coordinating matchbooks and napkins to center piece styles (I'm doing my own) is planned out carefully and way ahead of time. Still it is unique because it is a surprise for my future husband and very few things in this wedding are meant to pamper only him.

  • Totally different and separate! The Honeymoon is a special vacation and so the attire should be totally special! Like the first time, actually it is the first time as a MRS! I say something special for every night of the Honeymoon…
    Also, Thank you MyWedding.com, this is a great giveaway. I love the stuff that Dadiva has I’m thinking about getting either the HONEYMOON or Fly Me to the Moon shirt to wear on the plane what do you guys think??? Also, my fiancé loves the boyshorts! Sounds like I gotta get a few pairs!

  • Yes, it needs to be a separate task! He is going to remember how you look and what you are wearing the night of your honeymoon forever. When you are old and gray this is how he will remember you, so you want to make it fabulous!

  • It's definitely a separate task but it does tie in with the wedding dress itself. I wanted something that would go with my dress since the dress style makes wearing lingerie underneath a little bit of a task in itself. :)

  • It is for sure a separate task needing special attention! I want something comfortable but luxurious. And I agree with Rachel that I want to be able to wear it under my dress. My vintage dress has real buttons all the way down the back and my husband to be is looking forward to testing his patience by undoing them one-by-one on our wedding nite!
    
    The tank and shorts are very cute for lounging aroung on the honeymoon. Love the royal touch of the crown!

  • It is definitely a separate task. It is more personal and private so usual you undertake doing that alone, at least I choose to. You tend to personalize the wedding to both of your taste, the dress to your own but since it is my honeymoon I want to cater that attire to his taste.
    
    It looks very comfortable yet stylish! :)

  • My fiance and I will have been living together for 3 years when we get married. Shopping for my wedding night attire will not be part of the rest of the wedding plans. It must be something very special... I think it's only fair to him that I go above and beyond for that night. I can only assume that he will do the same for me!!!

  • Yes, I agree that picking out my wedding night attire is a separate task altogether. My future husband absolutely loves that our wedding will be full of surprises--all day and of course the night! I feel so giddy that he's so open to me planning things that it makes it fun for me to pick things out. I, too, am so excited about our wedding day and night!

  • It is def. a whole other thing to worry about this is your honeymoon the one trip you will never be able to take again the start to your new life. So why not do that with some thought and make it fun for the both of you?! You spent hours on making the wedding day perfect which we all know is such the womans day so why not make the honeymoon which is about both of us but we all know men completely made up the honeymoon :) a perfect and most romantic time to never forget by spicing it up a little.

  • Definitely a separate task! We've been living together for almost 2 years now, and I just want to make sure our first night together as husband and wife is magical. It sets the stage for our future lives together! Our wedding is on a Saturday night, and we'll be staying at the hotel (in their Presidential Suite!) for that first night. We won't be leaving for our honeymoon until that Monday after all of our out-of-town guests leave. So, I guess I'll be needing 2 special outfits :)

  • I think it should be a separate task. It's a special night and it should be treated that way. It's a memory that is just between the two of you!

  • Well since we have been living together for over two years and we have been together for 5 years the wedding night attire is not something I have really thought about. It is a special night but I think a cute underwear/bra set would be suffice. I am not going to spend too much time on it but will have something to wear!
