About "DAiSYS & dots"
Trisha Iford is the creator of the etsy shop - DAiSYS & dots. She loves all things paper and ribbon! DAiSY's & dots, opened just over a year ago, and Trisha was focused more on making and selling greeting cards. At the beginning of this year, Paper Cakes was introduced into the shop and they took off! Most of the cakes go to individuals in the United States, but have sold as far away as Australia, Hong Kong and London. Trisha loves creating unique pieces, so she is always up to do a custom order. She exclaims," Taking other people's ideas and making them a reality is so fulfilling!" Since starting these adorable Paper cakes, Trisha has expanded the idea to include square cakes, carrot SLiCES, townhouses and newest to the collection, Christmas trees.

    • I would love to have one of these cakes for my bridal shower and fill them with cake flavored and scented items like Jelly Bellys, lip gloss, and Demeters perfume in Vanilla Cake batter.

    • My fiance's cousin is making our wedding cake. Her cakes are unbelievably delicious and original. We couldn't decide between flavors so we're having a three-tier cake with different flavors on each tier: baileys-infused, cherry-chocolate, and raspberry-lemon. We know our guests will be floored by their taste, so we've asked her to package small bags of her dry cake mix for our guests to take home. This way they can share the goodies with kids that might not have been able to join in the festivities, or simply remember our day with a pleasant and delicious treat. Having this beautiful paper-cake would be an awesome way to package the bags of ingredients for the guests to take home.

    • Probably some Candy - something sweet definatley. I would be hesitant to stick a real slice of cake in there, but it would be nice to be surprised with something sweet to munch on.

    • I really love the idea of serving this at a bridal shower to all of the women. I am a big fan of truffles, so I would put individually wrapped truffles inside. The other item I would include keepsake items such as pretty rings, a flower clips for the hair, or a broche. These would be randomly put in boxes so the women wouldn't know what they got. Of course, they can exchange their keepsake item.

    • I would use the cake slices to put sugar free candy in them as an alternative for those who could not have my wedding cake.

    • I would definitely put white and blue M&Ms in them to match my color scheme! I know those will probably be my shower favors, and the Cake SLiCES would be a perfect way to package them!!

    • I would use this for a game at my bridal shower! Each individual piece could be filled with kisses from the bride and groom, but the individual who opens up the winning slice that will contain a picture of the bride and groom would win...a gift card to Daisy's and Dots!

    • these seems so cute! I would serve these at our going away brunch. We were planning on giving gas cards as favors since its a destination wedding and these would make the perfect holder for them.

    • Candy! Candy, candy, candy....! We've got the biggest sweet tooth ever, and would fill it with our favorite candies to give to our guests.
