A flower girl’s dress can get pretty pricey. And since the girls grow up so fast, chances are slim to none that they’ll wear their dress again.
Here is an idea that’s becoming more common and is absolutely perfect for the summer weather. Have the flower girls wear leotards and tutus. They are reasonably priced and are easy to find. Add a few different accessories, like wings and a wand, and you’ve got a fairy! Now have you ever met a little girl who didn’t want to be a fairy? Exactly! These costume pieces will be great for her personal dress-up collection, or even usable for dance class!
Instead of flowers in their basket, have them carry large sized sparkling confetti. And explain to them their sprinkling fairy dust for the princess (The Bride) to walk on. The girls will find that fascinating and will want to do a great job!
